As a new hire, you would typically join Lee Wenyong & Co. as an associate, depending on your academic qualifications & professional background. Associate
Lee Wenyong & Co. offers associates an experience that spans many industries, SME clients, & business issues, from intensive orientation programs to on-going training & on-the-job apprenticeship. Associates will be challenged to develop first hand knowledge of SME client critical business issues, build client relationships & problem solve. Associates are given ownership of significant segments of SME client work, as well as responsibility for supporting the broader problem solving effort. Associates also conduct interviews with key market players & industry specialists & analyze SME client performance.
Manager
Managers begin to develop specialized knowledge & drive a significant portion of SME client work. Managers are encouraged to coach junior team members & serve as a thought partner to colleagues. Managers work closely with SME clients to develop a deep understanding of human resource issues, create performance strategies for change, secure SME client buy-in to strategic solutions, & work along side SME clients to make these performance solutions happen. Managers are provided numerous opportunities to participate in a variety of training programs to build skills & network with other Lee Wenyong & Co. colleagues.
General Manager
General managers build leadership skills by taking ownership of one or more SME client relationships, learning to keep one eye on the big picture & the other on details. General managers provide intellectual leadership for teams & ensure that work is delivered on time & within budget, harnessing team diversity to ensure the development of creative solutions to complex problems. General managers give their direct reports regular formal & informal feedback & encourage direct reports as they continue to develop their skills. By effectively managing SME client relationships, general managers ensure that their teams exceed the SME client’s expectations. General managers will also play a role in building Lee Wenyong & Co. by participating in recruiting campaigns, contributing to training programs, & writing publications for internal & external audiences.
Director
A proven track record as an outstanding general manager serve directors well as they begin managing multiple SME client relationships. Directors take creative risks to deliver innovative solutions to SME clients, contributing to Lee Wenyong & Co.'s intellectual capital & building trusting relationships. Clients seek the advice of directors on business issues that extend beyond the immediate scope of SME client work, & directors play a significant role in defining their SME clients strategic agenda. Within Lee Wenyong & Co., directors share key business insights to foster innovation, develop business capabilities & continuously build the business portfolio. Directors also have a growing role in the management of the company, linking Lee Wenyong & Co.'s research work across multiple SME client accounts to the broader business & strategic vision.
